The Andean Qero people hold no conception of evil at the level of energy. Woman and men can become evil by blocking the flow of the living light energy or Sami. The blocking of this energy stagnates our life force and turns to hucha or density and so evil acts are committed because our actions in the world are cut off from The Divine. Sami has the ability to transform hucha.
Fear is a result of hucha and thus if we have no hucha we have no fear. And if we have no fear then we cannot see evil in the world because we understand that ‘evil’ can only be perceived/felt/experienced from the standpoint of hucha.
Hucha is not a negative or evil energy it is dense energy that blocks the light. The act of holding tightly to this denseness is the act of closing the door to the light.
Light is the physical form of spiritual thought, thought as that component of the cosmos that creates, the logos, the fore thought behind the word, that which brings creation into being.
So, when we block this, by holding onto hucha/density, we cannot see the light and, because the nature of earthly experience is experienced through the filter of duality, when we don’t allow the light we will live its opposite, we will live in darkness. In the Andean Cosmovision only human being can do evil and this arises from the lack of divine cosmic thought which is light.
When we let light in we transform density and both light and dark can live in balance. We stand in the centre able to see both for what they are and take from them the lessons they are here to teach.
Our task as humanity is to embrace light and dark first in its duality, in other words through our human experience, where we come to know both qualities and their gift, that is, that without the both we cannot know either. Once we have come to know both we can freely and consciously choose to act from the one or the other. Choosing the light – the action of this choice – is what actualises spiritual sight and our return to innocence.
